Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Shumi (shumi.ai), a crypto-research chat product. Shumi is operated by two natural persons based in Bulgaria, building independently. There's no corporate veil and no investor pressure shaping how we run the service — we're telling you what to expect, in plain terms, and we'll honor it.

1. What Shumi is

Shumi is an information tool. You ask it questions about crypto markets in natural language; it runs structured queries against trend, funding, sentiment, and regime data and returns a synthesized answer. That's the whole product.

Shumi is not financial advice. It does not recommend trades, it does not execute trades, it is not a licensed advisor, and using it does not create an advisor-client relationship. Trading crypto is risky. Lose-everything risky. Your trading decisions are yours alone.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), to use Shumi. Paid tiers are sold only to adults. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will close the account and refund any unused paid time.

Shumi is not available where its use would violate local law. You are responsible for confirming that using a crypto research product is lawful where you live.

3. Your account

You can use Shumi without an account for a first query (one per device). After that you sign in with a wallet, email, or supported social login via Dynamic. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials and wallet secure. If you lose access to a wallet you signed up with, we can't recover entitlements tied to it on your behalf — wallets are self-custodial by design.

You can delete your account by emailing hello@coinrotator.app. We'll process the deletion within a reasonable time (typically a few business days).

4. Subscriptions and one-time purchases

Paid tiers are sold and billed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They handle the payment processing, VAT and sales-tax compliance, chargebacks, and your invoice. We don't see your card details.

Tiers: Access ($20/month) gives 50 chat queries per day; Pro ($200/month) is unlimited; Genesis ($500 one-time) grants lifetime Pro access for as long as Shumi operates. Access and Pro renew until you cancel. Allowances may evolve over time — we'll announce changes with reasonable notice and honor what you signed up for through your current paid period.

You can cancel any subscription at any time via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal link in your receipt email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you keep access through what you already paid for. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• • Scrape or systematically extract Shumi's output beyond the documented rate limits.
• • Resell access or share your account or API keys with parties who don't hold their own entitlement.
• • Attempt to bypass the entitlement gate, paywall, or rate limits.
• • Use Shumi to harass others, run scams, or violate applicable law.
• • Reverse-engineer the prompts, models, or internal pipelines.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. Honest disagreements get a conversation first; abuse gets a kick.

6. No warranties

Shumi is provided as-is. Markets move, models hallucinate, data pipelines lag, exchanges go down, RPCs rate-limit, our infrastructure can have hiccups. We do our best to keep the service running and accurate, but we don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, completeness, or that the service will meet your specific needs. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including Bulgarian consumer-protection law where it applies), we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Shumi is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you're on the free tier, that cap is zero. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages — including lost trading profits, missed opportunities, or trades you made based on Shumi's output.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for things that can't be limited under applicable Bulgarian or EU consumer law (gross negligence, willful misconduct, death, personal injury, etc.).

8. Service availability

We don't offer an uptime SLA. This is a two-person indie product, not a Fortune 500 enterprise service. We monitor, we get paged, we fix things, but we won't pretend to a 99.99% standard we can't guarantee. If you need enterprise reliability for crypto research, you're probably reading the wrong terms page.

9. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms. Material changes get announced via the website and an email to subscribers (when we have an address). We aim for 30 days' notice before changes take effect, but security or legal-compliance updates may take effect sooner. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms; if you don't, cancel and stop using the service.

10. Termination

You can stop using Shumi any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts for the abuse reasons in section 5, or if continued operation becomes legally or commercially infeasible (regulatory shift, infrastructure costs, founders moving on). If we wind down the service entirely, we'll announce it with as much notice as we can — typically at least 60 days — and offer pro-rated refunds for paid time you can't use.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Bulgaria. Disputes that can't be resolved by conversation go to the courts of Sofia, Bulgaria. If you're a consumer based in the EU you may also have rights under your local consumer-protection law — those rights are not waived by this clause.
