FAQ
Pricing questions
Who handles billing?
Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They handle card processing, tax, and refunds, and we never see your card details. Cancel anytime from their customer portal; the link is in every receipt.
What counts as one query?
One question you send Shumi in chat. Follow-ups count too. Free gives you 10 queries to start, then 1 a day after that, no card. Plus resets at midnight UTC. Pro and Genesis have no cap.
What if I upgrade mid-cycle?
Switch from Plus to Pro anytime; Lemon Squeezy prorates the difference. Downgrades apply at the end of your paid period, so you keep the higher tier until then.
What is Genesis? Why is it $500 once?
A one-time payment for lifetime Pro access, no renewals. We sell a limited number while the project finds its footing. Same Pro tier, paid once.
Can I get a refund?
Billing and any refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy as our merchant of record, under their terms and any statutory cooling-off period that applies. See our Refund Policy for the details.
What happens if Shumi shuts down?
Pro subscribers just cancel. Genesis is a lifetime grant, so it only holds while the service runs. We are a two-person project, not venture-backed, and our public roadmap spells out the wind-down conditions if revenue does not work out.
