Refund Policy

This page explains when and how you can get a refund. We use Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record for all paid tiers, so most of the mechanics happen through them. We process refunds quickly and without drama when you ask — the only goal here is to make sure expectations are clear.
1. EU 14-day right of withdrawal
If you're a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the order, without giving a reason. Lemon Squeezy handles this automatically per EU consumer-protection law. Email hello@coinrotator.app or open the customer portal link from your receipt and we'll process the refund.
Note: the right of withdrawal does not apply once you've started actively using a digital service (made queries on a paid tier), but in practice we honor refunds within 14 days regardless of usage. See the Genesis-specific rules below.
2. Pro and Access subscriptions
- • Cancel any time from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal link in your receipt email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period.
- • First 14 days: full refund on request, no questions.
- • Mid-cycle cancellation after 14 days: you keep access through what you already paid for; no automatic refund on the unused portion, but we'll review case-by-case if there's a reason (broken feature you paid for, billing mistake, etc.).
- • Plan switch: switching from Access to Pro prorates via Lemon Squeezy. Switching down (Pro → Access) takes effect at the end of the current period.
3. Genesis ($500 one-time)
Genesis is a perpetual license granting lifetime Pro access. Because it's a one-time purchase:
- • First 14 days: full refund on request, no questions.
- • After 14 days: non-refundable in the normal case. We'll honor exceptions for verified billing errors or if we wind down the service materially earlier than expected — see section 5.
4. How to request a refund
- 1. Email hello@coinrotator.app from the address on your Lemon Squeezy receipt, or
- 2. Use the Lemon Squeezy customer-portal link in your receipt to cancel and request a refund directly.
Either path works. We typically respond within a couple of business days. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method by Lemon Squeezy and usually land within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer or PayPal.
5. If we wind down the service
If we discontinue Shumi entirely, we'll announce it with as much notice as we can — typically at least 60 days. Active subscriptions are cancelled at the wind-down date and we issue pro-rated refunds for the unused paid time. For Genesis holders, we issue a pro-rated refund based on a reasonable expected-life assumption for a lifetime license at the time of purchase, capped at the original $500.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please email us first — we'll almost certainly resolve it faster than a chargeback dispute. Lemon Squeezy handles chargebacks on our behalf as merchant of record. Repeated abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension.
